Are you a caring and passionate candidate with experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Nursery Assistant? Here at Long-Term Teachers we are excited to be working with a vibrant and successful Primary School in the BS23 area of North Somerset. The Role
We are seeking a candidate with experience working as a teaching assistant or someone with great knowledge of SEND within children. This is a Full-time position, where you will be working with a pupil in the Reception class who has ASD and behavioural needs. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a caring and nurturing background, someone who can bring a positive and calm environment to a pupil with difficulties around social situations.
You will be expected to:
- Work closely with a Reception pupil and the class teacher.
- Help identify and adapt activities to meet their needs.
- Provide a calm working environment for the pupil to feel comfortable.
- Build excellent relationships with the pupils' parents.
- Be adaptable and engage the child with EYFS activities.
