I am working with Primary Schools in the South Gloucestershire area who are currently looking for a Teacher with experience or specialism in Early Years. This Primary School is a lovely village school with a great community of staff and parents. This is a 1 form entry school that supports one another with lesson planning and delivering exciting and engaging lessons based on the children’s interests.

The Role

This role starts in Term 1 until the Christmas Holidays on a Part-Time basis, working Monday and Tuesday. The school is looking for a candidate who has experience teaching within an Early Years or KS1 setting. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is very confident with a playful curriculum, working in a team and collaborating with parents to communicate children’s needs and development.

You will be expected to:

  • Have a great understanding of Phonics.
  • Have experience teaching whole class lessons.
  • Able to communicate and assess development - adapting future learning to meet children’s needs.
  • Understanding of the difference between EY and Primary curriculum.
