We are working on behalf of a new, fantastic special school that is opening up a new class after half term. This class has a permanent teacher who is going to be working 3 days a week, so they require someone who is able to lead the other 2 days!

The role is within a KS1 class of complex special needs & disabilities. The class will be following an Early Years class model and many of the students will be non-verbal. Due to this, it is essential you have had experience working with SEND in schools. The class is around 8 students where you will be ably supported by 4 TA's in the class and you will be expected to plan your lessons in partnership with the other class teacher. You must be a naturally patient, positive and enthusiastic person. The school is open to different applications for this position but ideally you would hold a QTS.
