Full-time positions for ages 10-18 with complex behavioural needs starting in September. We are working on behalf of a Children's Services unit that is looking for Support Workers to join the team of full-time/permanent staff. The site provides a valuable service to families in the area with support for their children, focusing primarily on students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs.
The role of Support Worker is incredibly varied, involving a lot of 1-1 support to help young people develop and build confidence for life away from the site. Their approach is highly child-centred, providing individualised care programmes.
They are ideally looking for full-time staff, with agreed hours varying depending on the candidate's availability. Candidates must have some form of SEN/SEMH experience, but applications from support workers with a care background are also welcome (essential to have worked with children before).
