A fantastic special school based in the Newbury area is looking for either full-time or part-time Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join the team for an immediate start. The school supports a range of special needs, mainly focusing on students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The role of TA revolves heavily around supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. Being proactive is essential in being successful in this role, as students may not always ask for help, so you must find ways to assist where you can. Experience working with SEMH students is preferred, but the school is open to a range of different applications.
