We are delighted to be supporting a fantastic special school based nearby to Newbury that is looking for full-time or part-time SEN Learning Support Workers to join them, ideally immediately! The school looks after students aged 6-19 with a range of special needs and disabilities, primarily focusing on students with SEMH and Complex Needs. The school is a unique environment that offers a bespoke curriculum for every single student. They are passionate about the welfare and inclusion of all their students and put a big emphasis on collaboration across the school.

The role is varied, providing general support inside and outside of the classroom. Due to the needs of the students, it is crucial that you have experience working with challenging behaviour, preferably within a school setting. You must be calm, patient, positive, enthusiastic, and a naturally good team player.
