We're working on behalf of a fantastic special school based in the Newbury area that are looking for a teacher to join the team from January (ideally!). The school looks after students with a range of special needs but are primarily focused around Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH). The primary site is a fantastic little site based in a fantastic location. They're very proud of the tight-knit team of friendly staff, and they are always on the lookout for similarly friendly people!

The vacancy that has arisen is in a KS1 class of 8 students where you would be ably supported by 2 permanent TA's in the class. You will be expected to plan & mark your own lessons following the primary curriculum. Experience of having worked with SEMH in some capacity is preferred. You must feel confident dealing with challenging behaviour and have a genuine desire to work with SEMH students.
