Full-time (5 days a week) SEND Teaching Assistant at a special school (ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, PMLD, SEMH).
General classroom support for ages 4-16 with an immediate start in a long-term role.
We work closely with a fantastic special school in the Falmouth area that is looking for new Teaching Assistants to join the school. The school is based in a fantastic location with brand new facilities and boasts a very high staff retention rate.
The school looks after a wide range of special needs and disabilities, which often involve complex needs, so experience in this area is essential.
The role will mostly involve providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support where required. The classroom teachers look to their Teaching Assistants for additional support, consistency, and proactiveness - proactiveness is the most important trait they require in a special school.
