I am currently seeking a strong candidate to support 1:1 learning with an SEND student in their Year 2 class in a North Bristol Primary School. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment as this school prides itself on being a respected and welcoming school, supporting pupils and staff personal and professional development.

The Role

This position is to start as soon as possible. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, Term Time only. The Head Teacher is looking for a flexible candidate, someone who can cope in high-pressure environments and can be adaptable in regards to prioritising learning activities for individuals and small groups. You will be expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities.
  • Be a resourceful candidate, who can adapt activities to meet the needs of individuals.
  • Work 1:1 with children and in small groups supporting interventions.
  • Support assessment and evidencing learning.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
