We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that is looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to join the team from September on a long-term basis. The school looks after a wide range of special needs and disabilities, which will often be complex needs. The school is a truly unique environment that is incredibly proud of the work they do there - providing a valuable service to families in the area.
The role of Teaching Assistant mostly involves providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support. The 2 roles are available in primary and secondary, so can be flexible depending on your experience! Due to the needs of the students, it is imperative that you have some form of experience working with SEND, whether this be in a school setting or in support work.
