Are you someone who has completed your PGCE or Teaching Degree and still searching for your first full-time Teaching position? Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are working with Primary Schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area who are looking for Teachers to join their teams on a long-term basis from September. This is a great opportunity for you to join wonderful schools who have passionate teaching teams who are creative and energetic and are always looking to support one another.

We are keen to support you as an ECT to find your first teaching position and help you build your experience and skillset to become a successful teacher. There are a number of opportunities within these schools; EYFS Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher and PPA Teacher. Some positions are full-time and others are part-time roles, but all positions start from September.

  • Have positive behaviour management techniques.
  • Communicate clearly with staff members.
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistants to support individual children.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Hold high expectations of the pupils' achievements.
  • Have a creative mindset when planning lessons.
