Full-time / Long-term position starting after half term, from 8:45am to 3:15pm at a special school catering to students with ASD, SLD, Complex Needs, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD.
We are working closely with a large special school in the Devizes area that is looking for a Learning Support Worker (LSW) to join the team on a full-time basis. The school currently has a couple of gaps, so you would be placed in the class that best suits your personality and experience. The school has recently opened a new site with top-of-the-range equipment and facilities, along with new members of the Senior Leadership Team.
The Role: The role of LSW is varied but primarily focused on providing general classroom support and 1-1 support where required. The most essential characteristic they look for is proactivity. Due to the complex needs of the students, it is essential to have experience working in a professional setting with special needs and disabilities, whether in a school or support work setting. The school is open to a range of different applications.
