A unique opportunity to join a special school at the perfect time as they expand. The school is looking for a number of TA's to join the team on a full-time basis from September. The school looks after a wide range of special needs & disabilities (SEMH, ASD, MLD, complex needs) with ages from Reception right up to year 13. What is essential for the school is having people who have good experience with special needs & disabilities in some capacity.
This role will consist of supporting students in 1:1 capacities as well as providing general classroom support. Being a patient & positive personality is essential and they will be looking for team players! Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour is important as well as being well aware of safeguarding expectations (further training will be provided).
Commencing in September 2024, you will be working full time between the hours of 8:30am - 3:15pm.
