The Role
We are looking for a talented teacher able to teach all the DT disciplines to KS3. The ability to teach Product Design to both KS4 and KS5 exam classes is essential. Experience of electronics would be an advantage.
The Design Technology Faculty is a thriving, dynamic and supportive environment in which to work. The Design Technology Faculty currently offers Product Design, Textiles, Hospitality and Catering at KS4 and Product Design and Textiles at KS5 and regularly achieves outstanding results. The Faculty looks to innovate to provide exciting and novel learning experiences for their students. Our KS3 curriculum also includes the teaching of graphics, CAD/CAM and systems and control and ensures that the Design Technology department provides a forward thinking, modern, exciting approach.
