We are working closely with a brilliant special school in the Forest of Dean that are on the lookout for a teacher to lead a KS2 class of Complex Needs & SLD students. The school is well established in the area and is very proud of the important work they do for the community.

The role available is for a KS2 class, currently being covered by an HLTA at the school. The school is open to waiting for the right candidate, though an ASAP start would be ideal. This role would be a full-time teaching post, where you will be expected to lead a class of 8 students as well as plan your lessons. You will be supported by 3 TAs in the class who know the students very well. Though the students are of KS2 age, they will follow the KS1 curriculum model. Due to the needs of the students, you must have worked with SEN students before and preferably hold a QTS.
