A brilliant special school is looking for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join the team from term 2 on a full-time basis. The school supports students with Complex Needs, ASD, SLD, MLD, PMLD & SEMH and is well respected in the local community.
The role: Due to the needs of the students, it is essential that you have worked with special needs & disabilities, preferably within an educational setting. The role will involve providing general classroom support, 1-1 support, and assisting the class teacher. It is important to be confident in dealing with challenging situations, and to be patient, positive, enthusiastic, and enjoy working as part of a team. The role can be tough, requiring resilience and a willingness to engage in all aspects of school life.
