This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Special School, where you will be working with children that have a wide range of special educational needs & disabilities. Experience working with children who have physical disabilities is essential. There are a number of different opportunities within the school, so we are open to applications from candidates with experience across a variety of age groups and special needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, some of the key fields you will be responsible for include (but are not limited to):
- Participate in activities designed to meet the emotional, physical and learning needs of individual children and groups of children
- Contribute to the monitoring and delivery of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
- Monitor CYP’s responses to learning activities and encourage them throughout
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with individual CYP and groups to ensure that they are developing

Commencing in September 2024, you will be working full time between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm.
