We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school in the Chippenham area that are on the lookout for a SEN Teacher to join the team from September (or earlier) leading a KS1 class of SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) students. The school looks after a wide range of special needs and disabilities and is very well respected in the local area. They really are a wonderful school, with only positive feedback from candidates that have worked there.

The role is a long-term/full-time position and can be flexible in terms of start date (either immediate start or September). The class has 8 students where you will be very well supported by 4 experienced LSA's that know the class well. The class is very settled and will be a lovely environment to walk into! In terms of necessary qualifications, ideally you would hold a QTS and have experience teaching in a special school environment, but they will also accept applications from HLTAs/Unqualified Teachers looking for a role with more responsibility.
