We are working closely with a brilliant special school based in Gloucester that is looking for someone to join the team in providing cover across the school in different classes. The school looks after students with a range of different special needs and disabilities from ages 6-16. The school is incredibly well respected in the area and is part of a large SEN trust that is well established in Gloucestershire.
The role of SEN Cover Supervisor/Teacher revolves heavily around leading pre-planned lessons in the school, so you will be expected to be confident in classroom management. The school is open to applications from QTS teachers as well as unqualified teachers/cover supervisors, making this relevant to experienced TAs looking to take a step up. Due to the needs of the students, it is imperative you have worked with SEN before. You must be adaptable, confident, and used to a fast-paced environment.
