Special school for Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a KS2 class.
Full-time ideally with an immediate start, from 8:30am to 3:15pm.
We work closely with a fantastic special school that is looking for a new Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team in a long-term capacity supporting a KS2 class. The school looks after a wide range of complex special needs and disabilities and is incredibly supportive, going above and beyond in supporting new staff in their development.
The role involves working with a lovely class of 6 students alongside 2 other Teaching Assistants (TAs) and the class teacher. You must be confident in working with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ideally within a school setting, but applications from support workers looking to try out SEN work are welcome.
