We are working on behalf of a fantastic specialist setting that is looking for a Food Tech teacher to join the team on a permanent basis. The school is based across a few different sites, but this vacancy is within their site in Cheltenham. The school looks after a range of different needs that include ASD and SEMH. The students at the school are often those who have been excluded from mainstream schools.
The role: The successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver a Hospitality and Catering curriculum to KS4 students. You will also undertake the role of tutor, supporting students’ social and emotional development, including the delivery of PSHE. This role is exciting as it is incredibly varied, and they will be expecting applications from teachers who are prepared for a unique school environment. They are open to a range of applications, but ideally, you would have experience working with SEMH students.
