Full-time ideally at a special school focusing on Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) from 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting in Term 2.
We are working on behalf of a unique special school that looks after a range of special needs, primarily focused on complex behavioural needs. They require staff who are confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and have experience working with SEMH. The school has a lovely team with a high retention rate of staff. The role involves filling two gaps at the school for full-time SEMH Teaching Assistants, one in an Early Years class and one in a Year 1 class. It is essential to be proactive, as there is always something to do, and they need individuals who are prepared to get ‘stuck in’!
Due to the variety of different special needs and disabilities, prior experience in a special school environment is ideal, but they are open to a range of different applications.
