We work closely with a number of special schools across Bristol that have all become very busy with staffing requirements. Having built a high number of relationships with schools, we're in a brilliant position to easily introduce the right candidates for full-time & part-time positions. The schools are a mixture of SEND & SEMH schools that look after students with a wide range of special needs & disabilities that include SLD, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs, ASD, ADHD & SEMH.
The role of TA will vary school to school but it is mainly revolved around supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. This mostly is centred around being proactive with the students, being kind, calm, patient, positive and confident dealing with challenging behaviour. Experience wise; again this will vary school to school but ideally you would have experience working with children and with SEND/SEMH.
