We are working closely with a brilliant special school that is looking for an HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join them ideally with an immediate start! The school works with a wide range of special needs and disabilities that will include SLD, Complex Learning Difficulties, MLD, PMLD, ASD and SEMH. They truly put the needs of every single student at the heart of the entire process.
The role of HLTA heavily revolves around leading pre-planned lessons, so it is imperative that you have worked in schools previously. Also, due to the needs of the students, it is important that you have some form of SEN experience. In order to be successful as an HLTA, you must be adaptable, patient, confident and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
