Special school for Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) in South Bristol is looking for a teacher to join the team from January in leading a KS2 class. The school caters to students with a range of special needs including SEMH, SLCN & ASD and provides exceptional pastoral support to their students, focusing on fostering independence.

The position available is within a KS2 class of 8 SEMH students, supported by 2 permanent TAs. You will be expected to plan your own lessons (primary model) and mark them, with adequate PPA time provided. Experience working with SEMH/SEN students is essential, and preferably you would hold QTS. Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour is a must.
