Cover Teacher teaching across KS2. Bristol based. Flexible working opportunities.

I am currently seeking KS2 Teachers to support Primary Schools around the Bristol area on a flexible basis. Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work closely with a number of schools who are seeking candidates who can be flexible and work throughout KS2 classrooms. These schools have had a need for KS2 teachers this academic year and would like to employ Cover Teachers to support with absence, PPA and training.

The Role

As a HLTA, Unqualified Teacher or Qualified Teacher, you will work closely with these Primary Schools, teaching pre-planned lessons across years 3 to 6. You will need to have great communication with the staff members to be flexible and work in a range of classrooms. These opportunities fit around your availability. If you are interested in working full-time or part-time, we have the best options available for you.

You will be expected to:

  • Differentiating and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Communicating effectively with other Class Teachers.
  • Working closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
  • Having a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Building relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
  • Being flexible to teach throughout all KS2 classrooms.
