An incredible 2 form entry Primary School in the Central Bristol area is currently looking for a KS2 Teacher to join their team after Easter Holidays. This school has a passionate and hard-working team of staff who are dedicated to providing the best learning environment for their pupils.
You will be supported by other year group teachers and a class Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality learning and experiences for the children to grow and develop.
The Role
This position is a full-time role, offering an opportunity for an experienced KS2 Teacher or someone who is looking to start their teaching career as an ECT. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is highly confident with their knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum to support common misconceptions and to plan engaging lessons.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons.
- Be empathetic and patient.
- Monitor children's development and targets.
- Have high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members in the UKS2 team.
