We are currently working with a 2 form entry Primary School in the BS13 area of Bristol who are seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their supportive team from September on a Fixed Term Contract. You have the opportunity to join a well-resourced school with a fantastic community that supports one another to provide an extremely nurturing and inclusive learning environment for children.
The Role
You will be joining the KS1 teaching team on a Full-Time basis from September. As the Class Teacher, you will be expected to inspire and motivate children to be curious and explore the world around them. The Head Teacher is looking for a confident professional with great knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, someone who is creative and able to bring exciting opportunities to the young children.
You will be expected to:
- Be creative and bring your initiative to the classroom.
- Assess children’s knowledge and development.
- Have great Phonics Knowledge.
- Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
- Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
- Work closely with the Class Teaching Assistant to provide 1 to 1 support to individual pupils.
