Long-Term teachers have a fantastic opportunity for qualified and unqualified teachers, to work on a flexible basis within a lovely mainstream primary school in Bristol, that educate early years to year 6. The nurturing environment supports students to develop their skills, both academically and emotionally, while respecting one another within a safe environment.
The Role
The role will involve covering key stage 1 and key stage 2 classes, so you must be experienced with all year groups in primary. Lessons will be pre-planned, however you must be able to deliver them enthusiastically, ensuring it is accessible for all students, including those with SEN. There will be an opportunity to work either part time or full time, with the flexibility for you to work on a supply basis to work around your schedule.
You will be expected to:
- Have high expectations of children and of yourself
- Have a passion for teaching
- Have up-to-date knowledge of pedagogy and the curriculum
- Hold strong behaviour management strategies
