We are an Education Recruitment company that support schools and Educators across the South West. We have an office in the city centre of Bristol, Exeter and Truro. This role will be based in our Bristol head office. The business was launched in 2018 and since then we have become one of the leaders in Education Recruitment.
As a Compliance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all our teaching staff meet the necessary regulatory requirements and standards. You will be responsible for verifying qualifications, conducting background checks, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the qualifications and credentials of teaching staff through rigorous checks and assessments.
- Conduct background checks, including DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, to ensure suitability for working with children and vulnerable individuals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance documentation for all teaching staff.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the compliance process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation and regulations related to education and recruitment, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in compliance administration, ideally within the education or recruitment sector is desirable but not a must.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately manage and maintain records.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
