Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are working closely with a 2 form entry Primary School based in the BS31 area of Bristol. This school is in high demand of Teaching Assistants to join their team from September to work on a full-time basis. The Role
This Primary School is currently seeking 3 Teaching Assistants to work in Reception, Year 2 and Year 5. As a successful candidate, you will work closely with the Class Teachers to implement interventions with individuals and groups of students, to prepare resources and to occasionally supervise the whole class with a short-term absence of the Teacher. You will be expected to:
- Support children in different aspects of their school life; social, physical, hygiene and welfare.
- Have an understanding of the curriculum.
- Support the class teacher with the planning of interventions.
- Encourage children to interact and engage with others.
- Monitor and evaluate children’s development throughout a learning activity.
