My school based near Bicester is actively seeking an English and Humanities Teacher to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from September 2025. They are eager to take on an enthusiastic teacher with a background in either English teaching or a Humanities discipline, who is capable of planning and marking English and Humanities lessons from Key Stages 3 to 5.

This school offers an excellent ECT programme for new teachers looking to develop their classroom experience in a supportive environment as well as professional development opportunities for more experienced teachers. The humanities department is small but offers a welcoming environment, with subject specialists always ready to support new members of staff in areas that they have less experience. This position offers a salary on the main and upper teacher pay scales, dependent on the successful candidate’s pay scale point (£31,650 - £49,084).
