Maths & Science Teacher roles available from 8:30am to 3:30pm with a January start for SEMH students. We are working closely with a brilliant special school on the outskirts of Bath that is looking for Maths and Science teachers to teach up to GCSE level. These roles are both full-time teaching posts where you will have full teaching responsibilities.
The school has a tight-knit and welcoming team that supports students with a range of needs, primarily focused around Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs. These students often come from fairly traumatic backgrounds, making this work incredibly rewarding.
The roles require experience in planning and marking lessons in Maths or Science, primarily for students aged 13-16. Ideally, the successful candidate would hold QTS and feel confident in teaching Maths or Science to GCSE level. Experience working with SEMH students is preferred, but applications from mainstream teachers who are confident in dealing with challenging behaviour are welcome.
