We are working with a dynamic and welcoming primary school situated in West Cornwall. The school is committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the teachers in delivering and planning lessons. You will provide support to the students in both small groups and 1-1. In addition to helping academically in the classroom, there will also be a significant requirement to support the students' social and emotional development. Being able to be pro-active and think on your feet is key, as you ensure all preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources are complete ahead of time.

Relevant experience and qualifications in a similar role are desirable; however, an understanding of supporting others and working in care would be very transferable. The right candidate will have a genuine desire to work with children and support them through their educational journey. You should possess a positive attitude, patience, and empathy. An understanding and commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children must be paramount.
