A wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in the BS37 area of South Gloucestershire are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to support 1 to 1 with a KS1 pupil. This school aims to provide a rich and varied curriculum so that pupils of all abilities are helped to achieve in a safe, friendly and purposeful environment.
The Role
This role is to begin as soon as possible. You will be working alongside the Class Teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities to support a KS1 pupil with their learning needs. With Speech and Language Difficulties, this pupil is currently still accessing Pre-School level learning.
You will be expected to:
- Have prior experience working with SEN children.
- Build a caring and supportive relationship with this pupil.
- Be open to suggestions from the school SENCO.
- Use your initiative to adapt activities if there are misconceptions.
