A wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in Weston-Super-Mare is looking for a Primary School Teacher to support covering PPA on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis until the Summer Holidays.

This Primary School is part of a large School Trust who can provide high-quality training and CPD for all their staff to ensure everyone is able to provide the best learning environment for their pupils to learn and grow.

The Role

In Term 5 & 6 you will be working to cover PPA in KS1 and KS2 classes throughout the school. They are flexible on Part-time or Full-Time as they have other bank staff available too. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is flexible and happy to pick up planned lessons and use their initiative to adapt any lessons to meet the needs and understanding of the children.

You will be expected to:

  • Strong positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher.
  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with this pupil.
  • Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
