Are you a Newly Qualified or Experienced Teacher looking for a new position? A rather large Primary School in the North Somerset area is looking for a KS1 Teacher to join their team from September covering Maternity. This 3 form entry Primary School is part of a small Trust which offers staff great professional development and opportunities across the other schools in the area. The Role
As a successful candidate, you will have strong Phonics and Spelling skills knowledge to ensure smooth transition throughout KS1. As you will be joining a large school, the Head Teacher is also looking for someone who is a great team player, with great communication skills to support with planning, assessment, trips and other extracurricular activities.
You will be expected to:
- Differentiating and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all children.
- Communicating effectively with other Class Teachers.
- Working closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support home learning.
- Assessing children’s progress and developing future lessons.
- Building on pupil’s learning gaps by challenging and encouraging their development.
