A Primary School in the Weston-Super-Mare area is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Reception Class, working closely with the Class Teacher to support activities, lessons and interventions. This school is a vibrant, inclusive Primary School which has excellent community relations and positive and committed staff members. They are always putting the children’s learning and mental health at the forefront of everything they do within the school.
The Role
This opportunity is a Part-Time position to start ASAP, where you will work in partnership with the class teacher to support the children in line with the EY framework. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 1:30.
The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic candidate with experience in an EYFS or KS1 setting and enjoys the challenge of working with children from varied backgrounds. This is a requirement as knowledge of Phonics is necessary.
You will be expected to:
- Communicate clearly and support the EYFS team.
- Lead and Support with a range of classroom activities.
