I work closely with a fantastic special school in the Devizes area that are looking for Complex Needs Teaching Assistants to join the team with an immediate start. The school look after students aged 4-16 that have a wide range of special needs and disabilities. The school has gone through some really exciting changes recently with brand new facilities and a new senior leadership team in place; there has never been a more exciting time to be joining the team.
The role involves providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support outside of the classroom. Due to the needs of the students, you must be calm, patient, proactive, positive and confident in dealing with challenging behaviour. They're a lovely school that likes lovely people!
