A special school is looking for a couple of Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join their team, ideally on a full-time basis, to support students with a range of different special needs and disabilities. The needs of the students are often complex, including physical disabilities, so experience in this area is crucial.
The role is varied but will mostly involve providing general classroom support as well as some one-to-one support for students who require it most. The role will also heavily revolve around supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. Providing the students with a happy environment is the most important aspect, as they want their students to enjoy coming to school!
You will be expected to:
- Be adaptable and flexible around the needs of the pupils.
