A Secondary School located near picturesque Calne is excited to welcome a part-time Teaching Assistant. The role includes providing general classroom support, but also working 1:1 with specific individuals. Successful candidates should therefore consider themselves to be empathetic, patient and adaptable. Relevant experience in childcare or classroom support is required, for example in school placements, community groups, sports or activity coaching. This role is the perfect opportunity to build on your passion for education and childcare, whilst gaining first-hand experience in a classroom setting!

The Headteacher places high value on wrap-around support for students, with TAs being a crucial part of that. The school has positive working relationships amongst staff, but also works tirelessly with parents/guardians to ensure each student feels cared for and can receive the best education for them.
