A friendly and welcoming school in the BS9 area of Bristol are currently looking for a Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team. This 2 form entry school holds high standards towards inclusion and equality ensuring all pupils feel happy and safe in their learning environment. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage. The Role
Starting from September, you will be working as a Year 3 Teacher, working alongside a KS2 specialist teaching assistant in a class of 31 pupils. This is a full time position with the requirement for both planning and attendance to staff meetings. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate with experience working in a KS2 classroom who also has knowledge of the KS1 curriculum to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils within the class.
You will be expected to:
- Hold great knowledge of both KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning.
- Create an engaging learning environment.
- Communicate well with other Year 3 Teachers.
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate.
