3 positions available in Central Bristol for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant role starting ASAP. We are looking for Teaching Assistants with experience working with children with SEND needs, such as ASD, ADHD, and EDA. You will be joining a 2 form entry Primary School in the BS7 area of Bristol to work closely with KS1 pupils.

The Role
As a successful candidate, you will join the team from June on a Full-Time basis. We are looking for flexible and confident team players who can work closely with children with a range of needs in the classroom. The job involves primarily supporting SEND children on a 1:1 basis, and sometimes in small groups or whole class settings. The Head Teacher is looking for candidates who have experience working with children with ASD needs ideally and with experience working within an EYFS or KS1 class. Someone who is patient and nurturing who can care for this individual throughout the school day.
You will be expected to:
- Have high expectations of the pupil you will be working with.
- Have previous experience working with SEND children.
- Be able to communicate and work closely with the Class Teacher.
- Meet the needs of the child through innovative teaching methods.
- Liaise with the SENCo for additional activities.
- Show initiative and flexibility.
