As our Cover Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, overseeing personnel, and ensuring effective cover arrangements for staff absences.
You'll collaborate closely with various teams to minimise disruption to teaching and learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily cover for absent staff, including planning for both planned and unplanned absences.
- Liaise with supply agencies to book supply staff and provide necessary instructions and support.
- Maintain accurate records of cover data and personnel information.
- Support the HR Manager with personnel administration tasks.
- Supervise and delegate duties to the Cover Supervisor Team.
- Stay updated on regulations and procedures related to staff absence and cover arrangements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role within a school setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with education policies and regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience with HR procedures and personnel administration would be advantageous.
