A Primary School in the BS6 area is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across both Reception Classrooms. Starting ASAP, you will be working full-time to support the class teacher and also work 1 to 1 with children with additional needs. The Role
Looking for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, the EYFS Lead is looking for someone who can commit, be reliable, flexible and caring. There are 3 children across both classrooms who need additional support in a range of areas, including emotional support, educational support, and engagement in their learning. The Head Teacher is looking for a proactive, energetic and committed candidate who would inspire children to be confident and independent when approaching challenges.
You will be expected to:
- Have previous experience of working with SEND children; ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
- Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management.
- Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development.
- Create a positive learning environment.
- Be flexible, working across both classrooms and collaboratively with 2 class teachers.
