Do you have experience working in an Early Years or Nursery Setting? Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently seeking a candidate who has excellent experience working with children aged 3-4. This Primary School is a wonderful place to be, they have a great community around them, where staff members support children and their families on an educational and personal aspect. Everyone is highly supportive of one another and help each other out with ideas and suggestions at all times.

The Role

This role is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) working 8:30 to 2:30. You will be joining a 2 form entry Primary School in the South Bristol area who are looking for someone to join their Nursery team as a Teaching Assistant. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum so that you can support the Class Teacher and use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the children’s needs.

You will be expected to:

  • Be confident in assessing children’s development
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver exceptional learning.
  • Build strong relationships with children and families.
  • Deliver activities inside and outside the classroom.
  • Work with small groups of children and on a 1 to 1 basis too.
