Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and support pupil progress.
  • Monitor attainment and use assessment data to inform future planning.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom environment.
  • Support pupils' transition into Key Stage 1, promoting confidence and independence.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and maintain high expectations for all pupils.

What We're Looking For

  • QTS or be due to achieve QTS by September 2026.
  • Experience teaching within KS1 (placements accepted for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.
