About the Role

  • Supporting pupils in both classroom and alternative learning settings
  • Assisting with the delivery of engaging, structured lessons
  • Setting clear and tailored expectations for individual pupils
  • Applying positive reinforcement techniques to support learning and behaviour
  • Observing and reporting on progress and/or behaviour to teachers and parents
  • Supporting pupils outside the classroom to help them regulate before returning to lessons
  • Promoting resilience, self-regulation, and positive social interaction
