Long Term Futures is seeking to recruit a caring and committed Teaching Assistant who is looking to develop their career within a SEND school environment. About the Role
- Supporting pupils in both classroom and alternative learning settings
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging, structured lessons
- Setting clear and tailored expectations for individual pupils
- Applying positive reinforcement techniques to support learning and behaviour
- Observing and reporting on progress and/or behaviour to teachers and parents
- Supporting pupils outside the classroom to help them regulate before returning to lessons
- Promoting resilience, self-regulation, and positive social interaction
