Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Oldbury, providing 1:1 support for pupils with Autism (ASC) and challenging behaviour.
Working closely with children who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), you'll play a key role in helping pupils develop confidence, regulate emotions, and engage positively in learning.
Responsibilities
- Providing consistent 1:1 support for pupils with Autism and behavioural needs.
- Implementing EHCP targets and personalised behaviour strategies.
- Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour.
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families.
