Long Term Futures are working with a primary school in Newham to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive Early Years team, helping to provide children with the best possible start to their education. The successful candidate will create a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence and a love of learning.

The school is seeking a committed teacher who can deliver engaging learning experiences whilst supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support children's early development in communication, literacy and numeracy
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years provision
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
  • Experience teaching within Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing outstanding learning experiences
  • Passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
